Dear Dwellness: I am feeling very overwhelmed and am wondering if you have any tips on how to talk to children about the current situation.

Dear Dwellness,

With the summer months fading away and school starting up again my daughter has been particularly anxious about coronavirus. She has been asking me a lot of questions and I don’t want to induce any more anxiety with my answers. I am feeling very overwhelmed and am wondering if you have any tips on how to talk to children about the current situation.

Thank you,

Worried parent

Dear Dwellness: I can’t stop thinking that it is my fault. What do I do?

Dear Dwellness,

I invited the person I am dating over to my place, but they took forever to respond and left me waiting. They said no and decided to hang out with their roommates instead. Now I can’t stop thinking that it is my fault. What do I do?

Help,

Confused

Dear Dwellness: How Can I Feel Less Distant?

Dear Dwellness,

Like many, I'm currently separated from close friends and family due to the COVID-19 virus. It's becoming harder to cope knowing I cannot physically express my love & affection like I normally do with them at the moment. Any advice on how to help deal with sadness relating to social distancing?

Thanks,

Sadly Socially Distanced

Dear Dwellness: What are some healthy ways to express anger?

Dear Dwellness,

During the pandemic, there seem to be fewer outlets to vent frustrations and take space from conflicts with partners/family. What are some healthy ways to express anger?

Sincerely,

I’m Over It
