Hanna Usdan, PhD-I

Hanna Usdan (she/her) is a dedicated and passionate doctoral student in clinical psychology, with a strong foundation in both education and mental health. Hanna brings a unique blend of empathy, knowledge, and understanding to her work. 

Hanna is currently pursuing her PhD at Long Island University-Brooklyn, and is completing her externship at Dwellness In-Home Psychological Services. Prior to the PhD, Hanna earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Hanna previously served as a head teacher in a charter school and an associate teacher in a special education school. Her teaching background has fostered a deep commitment to supporting individuals at different life stages, particularly those navigating academic and personal challenges. 

Hanna is committed to helping clients identify their strengths, understand their challenges, and develop the skills necessary to lead fulfilling lives. Hanna draws on her extensive experience in special education to tailor interventions that meet the specific needs of children, adolescents, and adults. 

Driven by a passion for lifelong learning, Hanna seeks to empower clients by fostering a collaborative, supportive therapeutic environment. She is particularly interested in the intersections of mental health, education, and personal growth, and her work is informed by a commitment to inclusivity and holistic support for individuals and families.
