Demi Tranchina, MHC-LP

Demi Tranchina, MHC-LP, is the Clinical Intake Coordinator at Dwellness. Demi earned her MS in Mental Health Counseling and a BS in Psychology from S.U.N.Y. – University at Buffalo. She is currently a pre-licensed therapist based out of Pittsburgh, PA. She is currently credentialed as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. She is passionate about advocating for appropriate mental health treatment for people who are incarcerated or otherwise involved in the criminal justice system.

Prior to joining Dwellness, She held the role of intake coordinator at a mental health practice in Buffalo, NY. While there, she was responsible for handling communications with potential new clients, reviewing new client intake assessments, registering and scheduling all new clients, ensuring intake documentation and medical records were received in a timely manner, and coordinating care for new and existing clients between therapists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and medical doctors.

She strives to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for all clients and clinicians.
